The Valletta Cultural Agency's festive programme transforms the heart of the capital with street decorations, a nativity crib and the city's iconic Christmas tree. It takes place around Valletta, including Republic Street, St George's Square and Freedom Square.
In past editions the lights and tree have been switched on at the opening and a crib inaugurated near St John's Co-Cathedral, with projections in St George's Square later in December. It is worth checking the VCA page on arrival for the night-by-night line-up.
Entry is free and no booking is needed; simply stroll out onto Republic Street.
